Who Are We?

Mr. Baker founded Altum RF in 2019. He previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, RF & Microwave at MACOM and Vice President, International Sales at MACOM. Prior to that, Mr. Baker was CEO of Nitronex, LLC, a designer and manufacturer of GaN semiconductors for RF, microwave and millimeter-wave applications, which was acquired by MACOM. Earlier positions include General Manager of RF Small Signal Products at NXP Semiconductors and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mimix Broadband Inc. Prior to Mimix, he held numerous technical and managerial positions over ten years at Sirenza Microdevices, including Vice President of International Sales, Vice President and General Manager of the Standard Products Unit, Vice President of Engineering, and Senior Director of Marketing. Mr. Baker holds a BSEE from Texas A&M University, an MSEE from Georgia Tech, and an MS in Global Finance from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology/New York University Stern School of Business.

Prior to joining Altum RF in 2019, Dr. Kramer was Senior Director Integrated Solutions at MACOM, with the responsibility of developing a portfolio of RF ICs for high-performance RF applications. With more than 25 years in the semiconductor process and RF and microwave component industry, Dr. Kramer has served as Department Head of the MEMS & Micro Assembly Foundry at Philips, R&D and Program Manager for RF Products at NXP, and RF Device Engineer at Philips Semiconductors. He held several engineering and management positions in 6′ and 8′ waferfabs. His expertise combines RF semiconductor process development with general management, project and product management, and strategic marketing. Dr. Kramer holds an MSc and a PhD in Applied Physics from Twente University, The Netherlands.

Tony Fattorini has served as Vice President Engineering at Altum RF since 2019. Prior to joining Altum RF, he held positions as Engineering Manager and Senior Principal Engineer at MACOM. Mr. Fattorini was previously Advanced Technology Leader and Senior MMIC Designer at Mimix Broadband, which was acquired by MACOM. He was also with Siemens, where he was a Design Engineer in the Microwave Circuits Group at Roke Manor Research. His interests include microwave and millimeter-wave circuit design, packaging techniques, thermal analysis and the management of high-performing teams. Mr. Fattorini received a BSc degree in Physics with Electronics and an MSc degree in Communication Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK. Mr. Fattorini is a senior member of the IEEE, a member of the IET and a Chartered Engineer.
