Your Role

As Senior MMIC Design Engineer, you will be a key contributor to Altum RF’s success. You will be a part of the Research and Development Team that designs and develops innovative high frequency GaAs and GaN devices with best-in-class performance for next generation high frequency applications.


What You’ll Do

  • Design microwave and millimetre-wave integrated circuits from schematic to GDS layout
  • Linear, non-linear, electromagnetic and thermal simulations
  • Design verification (DRC, LVS) and foundry insertion
  • Project documentation, assembly drawings and test plans
  • Research, literature study and feasibility analysis
  • Characterization and troubleshooting of prototype integrated circuits
  • Design of evaluation boards, fixtures and test setups
  • Analysis of the prototype measured data, datasheet and application note creation

What We’re Looking For

  • A university degree in electronics or physics
  • At least 7 years’ industrial experience in MMIC design
  • Experience using any of the following software would be an advantage:
    • MMIC design tools such as Keysight ADS, Cadence or AWR
    • Electromagnetic simulation such as Momentum, EMPro, CST or HFSS
    • PCB and CAD tools such as KiCAD, Altium, AutoCAD or DraftSight
  • Experience using RF and microwave test equipment for characterizing prototype circuits
  • Hands-on personality, good communications skills, willing and able to help and assist in adjacent disciplines
  • Team player
  • Fluent in English
